Inspired by Carmella Soprano and Michelle Pfeiffer, I wanted to showcase beauty surrounded by grit. I took these images in an underground bar in downtown Bakersfield, the smoking room gave us the perfect backdrop. She radiates power and effortless beauty, she’s a light in the dark.
