My Journey
I have always expressed myself through art and creativity, it took me until the age of 14 to realize photography is my medium of choice. I was gifted my father’s 35mm SLR from 1985 when I was in high school. I’ve been glued to a viewfinder ever since.
My Art
I specialize in portrait photography, creating a story and character through still images. I also do lifestyle and landscape styles, but portraiture has my heart. I have a spiral notebook with new stories and images and ideas scrawled over the pages. I can’t take pictures fast enough to keep up with my new planned creations.
My Skills
I currently use a DSLR to take many of my pictures. I also shoot 35mm color film on Pentax P3 and a Pentax K1000. I use Adobe programs to edit my images and often find myself glued to my screen for hours trying new things. Any and all manipulation done to my images is by me.
